Lauren Lofton strives to be a trusted counselor to her clients, giving high quality business advice on all issues, complicated and routine. She has extensive experience, both as a business professional and as an attorney, in real estate transactions, including commercial leasing matters, purchase and sale transactions, development deals, financings and construction projects. She also has expertise in general corporate matters, including representing clients in asset and stock purchases and advising start-up companies.
Previously, Lauren worked as a real estate attorney with a large Wisconsin law firm, was a partner in a Madison law firm, and worked as corporate counsel for a large real estate developer, where she had the opportunity to use both her legal skills and business experience to structure complicated deals as well as to provide advice on the company’s day-to-day business operations.
In addition to serving her clients at West & Dunn, Lauren also serves on the faculty of the Department of Real Estate and Urban Land Economics at the Wisconsin School of Business, where she teaches a variety of real estate courses to undergraduates and MBA students.
