Claudia Drace
Associate Attorney
Claudia Drace is an associate attorney at West & Dunn focusing on civil litigation matters with an emphasis on real estate and business disputes. Prior to becoming an attorney at West & Dunn, Claudia worked as a student associate at the firm for two years during law school.
While in law school at the University of Wisconsin, Claudia was the president of the Wisconsin Law School Mock Trial program. During her tenure on the mock trial team, Claudia won best closing argument at the Texas Young Lawyers Association Regional Competition and won the 2024 Habush, Habush, & Rottier Outstanding Trial Advocacy Award, which is awarded to one Wisconsin law student per year.
Prior to attending law school, Claudia worked in Washington, D.C., for two years at a non-profit. Claudia attended college at the University of Arizona, where she graduated summa cum laude with degrees in law and political science. While in college, Claudia was on the women’s rugby team, worked as a legal assistant at a law firm, was an opinion columnist for her university’s newspaper, interned at a historical archive in Guatemala, and worked on a missing person cold case podcast.
Claudia grew up in Boise, Idaho, and now lives in Madison. In her free time, Claudia enjoys traveling, hiking, and cooking.
